Women’s Kingdom Solitaire

Layout

The Women’s Kingdom is a two-decks patience. The game is begun by dealing the reserve stack of 32 cards and seven cards to the tableau. One more card is dealt to the first foundation to determine the starting rank (Five in Figure). Queen cannot be the starting rank. If this card is dealt, it should be put underneath the stock. The remaining cards form the stock. The waste pile is beside the stock.

Object

The object of the game is to build eight foundation piles up in suit, running from starting rank.

Play

You can build tableau piles down in suit. Only the top cards are available to play. In Figure, you can move K to A and 2 to 3. An empty space in the tableau can be filled with any card. If the reserve cell is empty, it cannot be filled.

The Queens play a special role in this game. When a Queen is opened in the stock, three cards are moved from the bottom of the reserve to the bottom of the stock. When a Queen is played to the foundations or to the tableaus, five cards are moved instead. The stock can be dealt only once.
