Rouge et Noir Solitaire

Layout

The Rouge et Noir is a two-decks patience. The game is begun by dealing 37 cards to the tableau piles (8, 7, 6, 5, 4, 3, 2, 1, 1, 0 cards in a pile). Eight foundations are above the tableau. The remaining cards form the stock.

Object

The object of the game is to move all the cards to the foundations.

You must build four left foundations up in color, running from Ace to King (two foundations in red, two in black).

Four right foundations are filled in the other way. You must build four tableau sequences down by alternate color running from King to Ace and drop them to the right foundations. Two sequences must start with the red Kings, other two two — with the black Kings.

Play

You can build tableau columns down by alternate color. When building tableau piles, you can move more than one card if they constitute a tableau sequence.

In Figure, you can move Aand 2 to the foundations, and play 6 onto 7.

After you have exhausted all the plays among the tableaus and foundations, click the stock to deal new cards to the tableau, one card to each pile.

Empty spaces in the tableau can be filled only with Kings or tableau sequences starting with Kings.
