The Four Packages is a two-decks patience. The game is begun by dealing ten cards to the tableau. Ten foundations are below the tableau. The cards of the tableau define the starting rank for each foundation. The remaining cards form the stock. The waste pile is beside the stock.

The object of the game is to arrange the cards into four packages: Ace at the top and an ascending sequence of 25 cards running from Two to King at the bottom (see Figure 2).

You can build foundations up in suit from the starting rank. To build up suits, you can use cards from the tableau or the waste pile.
In Figure 1, you can move 4 below 3 and J below 10.
If a tableau place is emptied, it can be filled with a card from the waste pile.
When you move a tableau card, the block of cards that you have collected below moves too and covers it (see Figure 3).
